Susan’s Barbecue, in Durango, Colorado, is not your typical barbecue joint. We believe in finding the highest quality ingredients we can get hold of, hand-crafting seasonal dishes, respecting the art and history of smoked southern meats, while creating new and exciting dishes. We focus on sourcing local produce and meats from farms throughout the Colorado and surrounding areas, smoking all meats with the best woods, not cutting corners anywhere – which means small batch, craft barbecue, with a focus on quality, not quantity.
Catering
Starting in spring 2025 we will offer pickup and drop off catering for Durango, CO and all the Four Corners region. Check out our sample catering menu!
